Bio:
francesco giunta My name is Francesco Giunta, I am a professional photographer member of the Italian Journalist Association (N°125813). I started taking pictures regularly at the age of fourteen and I have been working in photography and communication since 2000. After obtaining my secondary school certificate in 1993, I attended various Web Design and Coding Language classes .
In 2004 I graduated in Political Science specializing in International Hiwork with a dissertation on Journalism. In the same year I took a four-month trip to Canada to work on photographic projects and improve my language skills. Back in Italy, in 2005, I attended a Master in Policies for the European Community. In May 2005 I moved to Brussels, where I worked as a photojournalist reporter at the meetings of the European institutions on behalf of an Italian photojournalistic agency. In September 2005 this agency asked me to collaborate in the creation of an IT archive and its web implementation. I therefore moved to Milan, where I worked in Italian news with photo reports for weekly magazines and newspapers until 2006.
Since 2007 I work in Commercial and Industrial Photograpy as same as independent Free Lance Photojournalist.

I had experiences in sail navigation, diving and hiking. I love spend my free time in sea as same as in mountains. Recently I went in Burkina Faso (Africa) where i took photos of life and work in an countryside hospital. Collaborations with organizations active in human rights are welcome.
